On A Mission

Bees are known for their persistence. So are we.

It takes a worker bee visiting over 4,000 flowers to
make one tablespoon of honey. It’s a lot of work but the results are sweet.

We’re on a similar mission. Our work is intensive. It involves a concerted effort involving the family, schools, and other professionals. It takes patience, focus and expertise. It takes time.

It’s well worth it when we see children with a variety of behavioral and learning differences reach their full potential and ultimately develop a love of learning.

That’s what drives us.
Happy families. Successful children. Empowered parents. Effective schools.

Kid Behavioral Therapy Dallas

The icing on the cake is to be recognized for our efforts by those we help and with whom we collaborate.
Thank you.

“Tammy Cline provides outstanding family training and direct therapeutic intervention with her clients. Many of my patients’ families have benefitted from her services and the results have been overwhelmingly positive. I recommend The Behavior Exchange for all of my patients with behavioral challenges.”

“The Behavior Exchange has always been supportive of the Autism Society of Collin County. Tammy Cline, the Behavior Exchange Director, has a great deal of compassion and understanding for our children and families, she donates money, time and energy helping children and adults with autism. Every time we have an event or we put out a call for help, Tammy is always one of the first people to answer. Because of Tammy’s selfless efforts on behalf of our children, she was awarded the Autism Society’s ‘Angel Award’ in 2008. I am pleased to be able to call Tammy a friend of the Autism Society of Collin County.”

“When we met Tammy Cline our 4 year old son had not progressed much over the 1 ½ years of therapy we had provided. I tried to work on therapy goals but I didn’t know how to manage his tantrums. David’s speech was still scripted and echolalic. We decided to try 6 hours of ABA Therapy and within 3 months I was able to play with my son. Within 6 months he started to answer questions and create sentences. We noticed generalization of other global skills as well. I refer to The Behavior Exchange as “miracle workers” because our son has blossomed in their care.”

Rose Henke

“My wife & I met Tammy Cline over eight years ago. We asked her to work with our Son, Ben, who at the time was 16, and having severe learning and processing difficulties. Tammy worked with Ben for approximately a year, and during that time she helped our Son with the precious life skill of “learning how to learn”. Tammy’s skills and abilities to hone in on our Son’s issues were amazing. To this day, the work that she did with Ben, has proven to be of tremendous value in his life, as he has gone onto to a successful business career living in L.A., that in many ways is due to the work that Tammy did with Ben over eight years ago. We continue to refer Tammy to our “Circle of Life’, and wish her all the very best in her new Plano location.”

Sincerely,
The Shlesingers

“Tammy Cline has, on more than one occasion, made a significant contribution to my daughter’s educational experience with her training of the staff at her PISD school. Her professionalism is well respected by the staff and her ability to listen to parents and staff make her a wonderful collaborator, which can be quite difficult at times! I urge anyone considering using her services to do so with confidence! I’m VERY glad I did!”

“Our specialized classroom services for students with special needs have been greatly enhanced because of the guidance and training that we received from Tammy Cline from The Behavior Exchange. Our campus staff have learned how to deliver systematic instruction, monitor progress, determine appropriate targets for inclusion, and provide effective behavioral interventions for students.”

“Tammy’s knowledge, professionalism and genuine care for her clients are second to none. She went beyond providing an individualized protocol for our needs. She provided professional support, encouragement and additional tools for professional development and personal growth. Her attention to detail is phenomenal and her ability to organize and implement a class and student protocol is simply amazing.”

“Tammy has been an integral part of the transformation of my classroom. She is AMAZING! She truly cares for kids, looks at each of them as individuals, and has high expectations for each child no matter the circumstances surrounding that child. She has been wonderful to work with and I hope to continue working with her in the future.”

“As a Special Education Director I recognized a specific need in our district for our teachers to become trained in ABA. After an extensive search and review of different services and providers, I chose The Behavior Exchange. It has been one of the best decisions I have made on the behalf of my teachers, their students and most of all parents. A direct and/or consultative service along with variety and a diverse system of support from The Behavior Exchange has proven to be an enormous asset for our district for both our special and general educational programs. The BCBA staff at The Behavior Exchange work smart. Our district has enjoyed a satisfactory relationship with The Behavior Exchange and look forward at maintaining it.”
